ARIANE ARRAYS REPLACEMENT PARTS

When Ariane Arrays closed their doors, it marked the end of a major supplier of K1FO antenna products. The endeavor started out as Rutland Arrays and was originated by Tom Rutland who made a number of K1FO antennas for the amateur community. When Tom fell in ill health, the company was taken over by K6LEW, Owen Wormser. It was moved to Virginia and became part of C3I Communications. There things stood until 2006 when C3I sold the antenna line to Ariane Arrays in Massachusetts. Ariane continued selling antennas, but eventually had to cease operations. Much of the inventory and tooling were sold at auction.

After the auction, there was a remaining amount of repair parts, and that material was purchased by Directive Systems. Now many people would consider it a bad idea to support the products of a former competitor. After all, they should buy a shiny new Directive Systems yagi instead. The VHF amateur marketplace is small, and many hams have had considerable investment in Rutland or C3I or Ariane, and we decided to make the parts available for purchase. That is the good news for you. The bad news is that we have limited items, so the part you require may not be here. The following reproduction of Ariane Array parts pages includes a picture and prices for some of the products. Please contact the factory foir assistance.
